The picturesque quarter of La Petite France

It is undoubtedly one of Strasbourg’s most famous historic quarters: La Petite France in all its splendour, right on the hotel’s doorstep. It forms part of what is known as "La Grand-île" (the Big Island), a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. You simply can’t go to Strasbourg without visiting some of its most romantic features: its half-timbered houses, narrow, cobbled side streets and promenade along the banks of the river Ill, to name but a few. Over the Christmas period, the quaint town squares are embellished with pretty wooden chalets selling local produce.
