As you explore the different floors of the Bouclier d’Or, you will find our 22 hotel rooms. While most can be reached by lift, some are still tucked away in the remote corners of the old building and can only be reached by stairs.

from 7am to 8.30am and from 8.30am to 10am.

In the early morning, the first meal of the day is served under the majestic chandeliers and famous wall coverings of the “Zuber" room. In this historic setting where hunting and musical scenes evoke the pleasures of the nobility in the 18th century, breakfast at the Bouclier d’Or is a timeless experience that you can truly savour.

At the buffet, you can create your own personalised sweet and savoury breakfast, with fresh fruit and juices, pastries, kougelhopfs and pretzels, local and artisanal jam by Nicole, cheese and traditional charcuterie platters – where you will find the must-try mini Knack and Munster from Strasbourg – smoked trout from Alsace, soft-boiled eggs and hot drinks, all at your leisure.

On the other side of the huge windows, theflower-filled courtyard extends the breakfast area on sunny days.
